Yes, it is possible because the two systems are independent and managed by different structures. The invoice passes the checks carried out by the Exchange System only if it conforms to the FatturaPA format (FatturaPA documentation). If the invoice generated by the MEPA services does not conform to these specifications, the problem must be reported, contact us by contact's form.

Can an invoice which has been checked and transmitted through the MEPA be rejected by the Exchange System?
I have transmitted an invoice through the MEPA which has been rejected by the Exchange System. Why doesn’t the rejection notice that I received contain a description of the error?
All rejection notices sent by the Exchange System include the code and a brief description of the error (Exchange System documentation).
